IT Account Manager

Position Summary

 

A national leader in the staffing of long and short-term IT talent, we have an immediate full-time opportunity for an IT Sales/Account Manager in our Cleveland, OH office. The focus of this position is to sell the company’s IT staffing services to organizations throughout Cleveland and its outlying areas.

The Account Manager is responsible for selling and developing staffing opportunities within an assigned territory, offering a full range of IT staffing services. This position will be held accountable for personal production while contributing to the overall success of the office and company. This position is the stepping-stone to developing relationships with local clients by prospecting and cold calling to uncover their specific staffing needs.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Generate sales leads while continuing to work within the company model.Develop relationships and grow them into clients

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 Minimum of 1-2 years of staffing sales experience in a technology environmentExperience in prospecting, cold calling, and client presentations within a professional business-to-business sales organizationStrong communication and organizational skills in order to maintain a level of activity which includes qualifying prospects, scheduling client meetings, pipelining qualified candidates, and generating revenue.Successful completion of background screening process

Minimum Education and Experience

 A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Sales, or related fields.Experience selling IT/Technology staffing solutionsKnowledge of technical architecture, application and software development, data warehousing, business intelligence, ERP ( SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Oracle, etc), and infrastructure.
