IT Application Lead - Siebel A Cincinnati-based division of a fortune 500 company is seeking an IT Application Lead to join the organization. This key individual will lead assignments to build/maintain systems of medium to high complexity. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:· Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members.· Actively participate on committees representing inter/intra IT organizations.· Educate, influence and negotiate to achieve business strategy and deliver results. · Design, develop and deliver project solutions to specified requirements on schedule and within budget following appropriate IT methodologies.· Interface with suppliers and vendors to evaluate software, hardware, or services and make recommendations. · Provide input to performance evaluation and development planning for junior team members.· Participate in the business planning activities (budgets, project and resource planning) as needed. · Ensure that the organization’s information assets are appropriately identified and valued, and are protected by complying with and enforcing all local and worldwide security policies.· Integrate & manage tactical relationships with business partners by representing & promoting IT capabilities. · Define and maintain the task level plan. · Coordinate resources, budget & schedule.· Execute using standard methodology & processes. Qualifications/Requirements:· 6+ years of industry or consulting IT experience with four-year degree or equivalent preferred. · Exposure/experience to process definition and design. · Requirements definition, mapping and gap analysis. · Test scenario definition, scripting and execution. · At least two full-lifecycle Siebel implementations with technical leadership responsibilities for project or sub-team. · Knowledge of Siebel 7.x architecture. · Custom configuration and application design experience with all layers of Siebel (UI, Business Component, Data Model) and thorough understanding of the Siebel 7.x data model along with RDBMS concepts. · Siebel 7.5+ Tools, eScript, Workflow, Assignment Manager and Actuate Reporting Architecture and configuration/customization experience.· Siebel 7.x Smart Script architecture and configuration experience. · Ability to describe Siebel products, both core and vertical offerings. · Experience in Life Sciences or other FDA regulated environment is a plus.
