IT Auditor
91824 Are you looking for your next temp to perm position? We have a client in Boston who is looking for an IT Auditor. Assist in planning and scheduling IT audits within the organization. Act as the lead auditor on all IT audits, while coordinating the work of others on co-sourced IT audits. Perform infrastructure and application audits, as well as business process reviews for system enhancements. Perform all aspects of audit fieldwork, including documenting audit work, issues and findings. Identify and assess risk and exposure across a wide variety of business and technical environments, while making the appropriate recommendations to address and manage the potential risk exposures. Conduct technical computer control reviews on a wide variety of operating systems, databases and networks. Conduct internal control reviews, including system development and general control reviews. Communicate and follow-up with management on audit related issues. Participate on selected system development projects to ensure that proper internal controls are in place. Responsible for monitoring and consulting on ASA?s Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans. Write audit reports and perform contract compliance reviews for system sales.Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science or Accounting required. 3+ years of experience in complex information system auditing, computer programming, data center operations or new system implementations required. Internet based skills and experiences in Windows based operation systems functionality are a must. Certified Information Systems Auditor accreditations is preferred. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor accreditation is a plus. Must be competent to work at the highest level of all phases of information systems audition. Prior experience as a lead auditor is desired. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must be able to assess the effectiveness of internal controls over key IT risks, identify exposure, analyze transactions and develop recommendations aimed at reducing risk exposure. Strong communication skills.
