IT Sales Representative

Position Title: Marketing Consultant/Account Manager

Reports to: Branch Manager

 

Job Summary:

The Account Manager, under the general supervision of the branch manager, generates client leads, job assignments and establishes client relationships to service Staff Augmentation, Technical Solutions and Vendor Management Services teams.  The Marketing Department serves as the main client interface for S3 and all marketing consultants must maintain a visible presence in the technical and business community.  Routine marketing duties include client visits, prospecting, regular correspondence with clients, phone calls, attending marketing/business functions.  This position also requires interpersonal skills necessary to coordinate the workflow among recruiters between the contact and Direct Hire teams.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Must maintain a manageable number of daily phone calls driving new or enhanced business

· Generates Job Assignments for both contract, direct hire, and solutions opportunities

· Generates Clients leads via phone calls, client visits, prospecting, marketing drop-offs, email contacts, business associations, local periodicals, internet research and any other tools at your disposal.

· Develop business proposals and work with client relationships to develop technology staffing solutions

· Work with Client Companies and Client Candidates to develop career enhancing opportunities and educate Client Companies and Client Candidates on the staffing, technical and educational  opportunities in the community and region

· Through Association membership and Trade seminars promote S3 name recognition

· Work directly with Recruiting staff to meet business objectives and revenue goals

· Supervise the following steps of the placement process: candidate generation, candidate qualification, candidate communication to the Recruiting staff, Client Company and Client Candidate matching session, Candidate presentation to Client Company, Candidate qualification to Client Company, Interview Prep for Client Company and Candidate, Interview Debrief of Client Company and  Client Candidate, Compensation Package negotiation, Closing the Placement, all reports for CIS and ensuring the transaction is documented.

· Schedules all interviews relating to candidate, prioritizes candidate register, delegates candidate to Recruiting staff

· Maintains accurate, organized Client Company information in Sendouts.

· Maintains accurate, organized Client Company folders

· Communicates regularly with Recruiting staff on status of  candidates and Sales pipeline

· Negotiates fees and fee schedules with Client Companies.  All agreements are subject to managerial approval

· Negotiates all hourly pay rates and bill rates with respect to contracts.  All agreements are subject to managerial approval

· Assist Branch Manager and colleagues when needed Account Management/ Business Development

· Must participate in two business, civic organizations

· Must attend no less than two after-hours business functions per month

· Participates in Department meetings weekly

· Develops direct marketing pieces in conjunction with Marketing department

· Performs five client visits per week(minimum)

· Maintains standards of customer service as stated in the S3 employee handbook at all times

· Recommend marketing procedure changes

 

Qualifications:

· BA degree

· One year of Recruiting marketing/sales experience

· Three years of post college sales experience

· Advanced English usage, proofreading, and editing skills

· Decision making and management skills

· Computer literate

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Interpersonal and problem-solving skills

· Report/proposal writing skills

· Knowledge of Public Relations procedures

· Ability to organize and schedule and follow established company business development procedures and standards

· Ability to multi-task and practice time-management standards

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

· Position is primarily sedentary

· Consultant is required to attend out-of office duties and off-premises meetings or conferences

 

License Required:

· Possession of a valid and appropriate driver’s license
