Information Architect

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking an Information Architect (can also be known as Usability Experience Lead/Manager/Specialist). Within this role, the ideal candidate will define overall vision and strategies for research and design engagements. Candidates will lead and coordinate internal team efforts, perform expert reviews, facilitate user testing and participate in the interface design process. Activities will also include defining and executing a broad range of appropriate research strategies, interviews, usability studies, contextual inquiries and heuristic evaluations.


Responsibilities:
" Defining high-level strategies and visions for discovery research and design initiatives
" Primary work activities include applied usability work (running usability tests, Expert/Heuristic Design Reviews, consultation to other groups/teams)
" Planning and determining the proper research and testing strategy for an engagement
" Lead UX study and design teams in performing primary research tasks, such as discovery, usability testing, interviews, and design exercises.
" Develop, design, and document requirements for web applications, portals, and transactional websites.
" Participate in the creation of audience analyses, personas, use case scenario development, site maps, wireframes, workflow diagrams, content strategies, controlled vocabularies, labeling systems, nomenclature schemes, taxonomies and navigation structures
" Demonstrated ability to match user goals with business requirements and goals.
