You will be working Asia hours from New York, which is approximately 7pm - 6am. As the Junior Trader, you must be able to handle several tasks at once and be accurate and efficient in your work. A thorough attention to detail is extremely important. You will be expected to demonstrate good judgment, impeccable communications skills and the utmost integrity as you grow to represent the company to those inside and outside of the firm. Company Description Leading hedge fund Job Description Responsibilities for the Junior Trader include: Working directly with the head Asia trader Understanding firm's investment strategy and position risks and objectives Allocating and reconciling trades along with keeping trading blotter and other activities that support the trade execution function of the firm Forming direct relationships with brokers Tracking markets and company news to obtain prices Monitoring market activity and communicating ideas Handling ad hoc requests as needed Required Skills 2-5 years of finance related experience or accounting experience Strong Microsoft Office skills Top schooling with high SAT scores Desired Skills Experience with Asian markets trading Company: Execu/Search Group Job Title: Junior Trader Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Location: US-NY-New York City Salary/Wage: 75,000.00 - 110,000.00 USD /year Reference Id: J49801
