We are looking for a Lead Manufacturing Engineer with a strong technical background who can join their team and drive corrective actions on the factory floor. This person will act as a liaison between the Engineering and Supply teams and report directly to the VP of Supply.This is a terrific opportunity to join a company that is seen as a market leader in their industry. This person will manage the efforts of an integrated product team, which is responsible for primary support of the continuous improvement efforts of the production areas. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical field: Business, Manufacturing, Engineering etc. Minimum of 4 years experience with 2 years management / team lead experience Background in Fabrication, Assembly, Manufacturing, etc. Strong written and oral communication skills A person who can improve quality, minimize cost, improve throughput, and supervise production personnelSpecific Duties include but are not limited to: Effectively manage the efforts of a team of Production Engineers (1-2 to start, with growth as required by production requirements) Manage selected change projects to increase throughput Effectively implement new designs in supply to ensure cost, quality and scheduling targets are met Promote continuous improvement Drive work instruction and procedures for assembly and fabrication Support "design for assembly" and value engineering activities Ensure effective communication links are established across functionsCompensation: Base: Excellent pay - Commensurate with experience Benefits: Relocation, Medical, Dental, Life insurance, 7% match on 401KLean, 5S, Six Sigma, Mining, Drilling, Engineering, Manager, Management, quality, Surface, Blast hole, Mineral, equipment, manufacturing, mobile, industrial, fabrication, Production, Supply, Qualified applicants should reply via email to eric@mriyorktown.com  for follow up and further information.
