CITY: New York STATE: New YorkCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):NBC Universal has an immediate opening within the Campus Relations and Diversity team as the Manager, Campus Relations. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, high-energy division. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage the Corporate Internship program of approximately 1,500 interns per year (East & West Coast) Recruit, interview and assist departments in selecting interns for the business Identify diverse colleges and universities to build relationships Act as point person for all intern performance related issues and concerns Work with NBCU's internal legal team on major issues Help build and maintain NBCU's pipeline of entry-level talent Provide coaching to interns and other entry-level talent to continue to build skills and develop pipeline Facilitate workshops and training sessions for interns Collect and report out on company-wide entry-level program hiring statisticsResponsible for managing the campus relation's budget, including intern events, ordering recruitment giveaways and brochures Manage and support the career development of two direct reports, coordinator and assistant Act as focal point for all NY executive referrals Respond and handle communication in a timely manner Act as the liaison to GE Corporate for all campus recruiting and entry-level hiring metrics and processes Assist with GE Leadership ProgramsQualifications/Requirements:Bachelors degree required At least 3 years of related work experience including: Recruiting on campus or at career fairs Conducting interviews, assessing candidates Managing employee relation's issues Facilitating training and conducting presentations Coaching and mentoring interns/employees towards achieving their professional goals Developing and implementing programs and processes in a HR or corporate function Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPointEligibility Requirements: Interested candidates must submit a resume through nbcunicareers.com to be considered (note job#: 788173)Willingness to travel at least 20% and work overtime as needed Must be willing to work at the 30 Rockefeller Plaza locations in NY, NY Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United StatesDesired:Previous Human Resources experience (Entertainment a plus) Prior experience conducting presentations and facilitating training Prior experience coaching employees and influencing managers Knowledge of Applicant Tracking System (BrassRing a plus) Knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Strong analytical skills and process oriented Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple assignments concurrently Customer service orientedGeneral:NBC Universal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies.
