91144 Manager, Technical Support - enterprise software Excellent working environment - a software company that cares about your career development and mentoring. Manage department providing technical support for enterprise software including scheduling staff and managing queue of customer issues. Schedule frequent meetings with team and individual support engineers . Provide support engineers with ongoing training and career development . Take over and resolve "hot" issues as escalated by support engineers and other departments. Provide support for software running on Unix servers, integrated with large RDBs and data warehouses, various web servers and J2EE app servers. Represent support in cross-functional meetings with other departments, for new product introductions. Manage customer handoff to support from professional services. Provide continuous improvements in customer support processes, techniques, and results.Resume should demonstrate: Very experienced customer technical support manager who has provided support for enterprise software in Unix environments. Experience supporting software running on Unix servers, integrating with web servers and J2EE app servers. Experience troubleshooting implementation and integration issues with large RDBs and data warehouses, including SQL scripting. Provided customer support for implementation, ongoing troubleshooting, and use of enterprise software. Very strong written and verbal communication skills.Desirable to have any / all of these technical skills (in addition to above background): Experience supporting enterprise software in these environments: Unix: IBM AIX, SUN Solaris, or Linux skills, preferably admin-level skills. Databases: DB2, Oracle, SQLServer, Teradata, Netezza databases and data warehouses, SQL scripting skills. Web servers / application servers, particularly WebSphere or WebLogic web applications, J2EE. Experience supporting real-time / transaction-based software is a great plus.
