Manager of Financial Reporting

89020 Are you a CPA with strong SEC and GAAP knowledge? Our client is a recognized industry leader and is looking for just such an individual to join their Boston office as the Manager of Financial Reporting! The Manager of Financial Reporting will ensure the Company meets its external reporting responsibilities. This will include preparing SEC filings (10Qs, 10Ks, 8-Ks), registration statements, offering circulars, technical accounting analysis and the development and maintenance of essential accounting policies. The Manager of Financial Reporting will also partner with external auditors to complete the annual consolidated financial statement audit, bank reporting financial statements, SOX compliance, quarterly reviews of financial statements and employee benefit plan audits. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and CPA required. 5+ years related experience, preferably out of a Big 4 firm. Thorough understanding of SEC, GAAP, and SOX. Exceptional project management, leadership and communication skills.
