Manager of Pricing

Company Brief: Our client is part of one of the preeminent companies in the world and their Federal integration group has over $600M in revenue.  With an impressive list of new Government clients, they seek to augment their pricing function with a Manager. This position is now open.   Job Description: Reporting to a Sr. VP, the Manager of Pricing will be responsible for the tactical implementation of their subcontracting function to include playing a key role in the pricing of large, complex outsourcing contracts.  You will be well versed in all phases of the Federal procurement process to include estimating costs for Federal government procurements and working with FAR, Part 15 – the policies and procedures for negotiating contracts for supplies and services. A demonstrated ability to work with a variety of contracts environments such as GWAC, ID/IQ’s and other Task Order type vehicles is required.  You will review solicitations and bids, develop and validate pricing strategies, perform critical analysis of federal RFP’s as both a prime and sub, negotiate with subcontractors, monitor price proposal schedules and prepare and monitor internal budgets. Our client seeks a creative and organized professional with solid experience in developing cost models. You will have strong credentials in performing subcontract cost & price analysis, purchasing goods and services in support of government contracts and sub-contracts, indirect rate analysis and post award cost analysis.  An understanding of CAS and DCAA is helpful. The successful candidate must be able to work seamlessly with our pricing and contracts team.The client offers a very competitive compensation package to $105k, perhaps more, and an excellent benefits package for the successful candidate.   Qualifications: 10 years experience in a similar role. Strong FAR Part 15 credentials and a team player. Experience negotiating teaming and subcontract agreements; BS/BA; knowledgeable of U.S. government procurements regulations.  Some travel required.
