Mechanical Engineer

· Develops, designs and implements material handling systems

· Responsible for timely execution of project schedules

· Verifies and validates designs with in-house and field testing of prototype

· Generates and maintains all necessary documentation for the manufacture, support and operation of the machines and systems

· Supports manufacturing and assembly at start up of equipment

· Maintains and updates the design of existing equipment

· Maintains and administers all design revision levels (ECO) of the projects responsible for

· Support customer service in all aspects regarding function and operation of systems responsible for as needed

· Directs and supervises project team members if needed

· Follows the applicable standards and norm

· BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering

· At least 5 years experience in machine design

· Thorough technical and operational knowledge of material handling and automation equipment

· Basic knowledge of electrical control systems

· Experience with 3-D CAD system (Preferably Pro/Engineer)

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Good organizational, planning, managing and controlling skills

· Proficient with MS-Office package
