Responsibilities:
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of medical devices and may provide technical leadership to, or in concurrence with, project teams. Will design parts, make prototypes, write validation protocols, test, analyze data and generate reports.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have at least 6 years related experience working with medical products and must be a team player who possesses good verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to meeting schedule and project milestones. Requires working knowledge of:
- Materials
- Mechanical Design
- Biocompatibility and Sterility
- Product/Process Validation Testing
- Solid Modeling (Pro/E preferred)
- Lab View
- FEA and CFD
- BSME

Preferred Qualifications:
- Pneumatics
- Fluid flow, injection molding, extrusion, engineering plastics and/or elastomeric materials.
- Advanced degree desirable

This is a six month contract engagement, with the possibility of going direct. Local candidates preferred. US Citizen or Permanent Resident status required. All offers of employment are contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen and criminal background check.
