Position Purpose:

The Sales Representative’s main responsibility is to promote the Sales and Marketing activities of our organization by performing the following duties personally or with the assistance of members of Management.  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to efficiently research and market nationally based Aviation/Aerospace companies. 

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:   

·         Talks with customers by phone or in person to solicit staffing services.

·         Assists in preparing pricing proposals, new service agreements, renegotiate existing service agreements for existing customers and potential customers.

·         Follows up with current customers on quality of services provided.

·         Researches competitor wages to promote competitive pricing proposals / bids.

·         Ability to prepare and give formal presentations to existing and potential customers.

·         Moderate (20%-40%) travel within the United States

·         Quickly and efficiently market and/or sell staffing services by building and maintaining relationships with current and new customers.

·         Develop and expand current national customer base through cold calling and providing pricing proposals for staffing services.

·         Adapt to sudden changes while maintaining productivity and standards of quality.

·         Possess a working knowledge of the APA contract employee policies and recruiting procedures.

 

 

Operating Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Minimum Training & Education Requirements:           

This position requires a two-year Associates Degree in Business and/or Management (or equivalent).    Ability to understand and operate computers with either a Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating system.  Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.    Effective communication skills.  Essential personal skills include the ability to work with people, the ability to organize information and materials, creativity, problem solving ability, must have attention to detail, a professional attitude, and the ability to work with people and to meet demanding schedules. Basic computer skills are required.

 

Minimum Experience Requirements:   

A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the Staffing Industry with a strong background in service oriented sales.  Knowledge of or experience in the Aviation Industry a definite plus.

Reports to Operations Manager and/or CEO
