Network Administrator Generalist - VMWare and Cisco!

90779 Excellent opportunity for a talented Network Engineer with sold VMWare experience! To qualify, you must also have experience to Cisco firewalls and routers. Will join a highly technical team. Opportunity for cross training! This role is a true "generalist" position and this hire will have a well-rounded technical skill set. This client has an immediate need for a motivated candidate who has experience setting up and maintaining a clustered VMware environment. Responsibilities will include: Experience setting up and maintaining a clustered VMware environment. Hands-on administration experience with Windows server environments, LDAP, Cisco network switches, firewalls, and routers. Past experience with database administration (Oracle, SQL Server). Relevant scripting/tools/automation experience. Experience with hosting center operations preferred, including application and network monitoring. Experience with iSCSI SAN storage technology.Duties/Responsibilities: Troubleshoot complicated network and application issues. Configure and administer Windows operating systems. Maintain highest level of security and monitoring. Manage hosting center operations. Documentation for business continuity.
