Network Engineer

CCNA / CCNP and 3-5 years of experience with customer contact and network implementation. Experience in the telephony field as an installer or support engineer is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required, as is a strong customer focus. There is very limited travel necessary for this position.

* Linix and Unix (basic commands)

* Policy NAT and IP NAT

* Route Maps

* Access-lists

* (MPLS, MFR, MLPP, FRAME Relay and Point to Point)

* QOS



Job Duties:




* Be the primary remote installation contact for onsite Field Service engineers.

* Perform install admin tasks. (Verifying design, creating router/switch/firewall configs and updating spreadsheets with pertinent TCP/IP info.

* Document the install and update the tracking database with status.

* Installation, configuration and support in areas of responsibility.

* Attend resource calls when necessary for implementation coordination.

* Technical assistance to Project Management for ISP and telco questions.

* Manage client hardware and software inventory.

* Validate workload with the scheduling calendar.
