Opportunity to join a large spirits company that has an extensive brand portfolio. A leading adult beverage company is looking for a Market Manager to represent their brand portfolio and work within their On Premise Accounts in Southern California. We are looking for an aggressive self-starter who enjoys a challenge and is willing to travel.Responsibilities:* The Market Manager develops and implements, at wholesale and retail levels, programs addressing sales, distribution and promotional opportunities to meet sales and distribution objectives.* Provides direction and support to assigned distributors, managing retail execution plans and activities for assigned markets.* Maintains and develops multi-level contacts in order to support and merchandise brands.* Conducts regular sales meetings with assigned distributors.This company provides a competitive compensation and benefits package, which includes both a long term and short term incentive bonus, 401k, profit sharing, tuition assistance, great health benefits and a company car.Qualifications:* A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience is required.* Must have a minimum of five years consumer product sales experience, preferably in the beverage-alcohol industry.* The ideal candidate will have spirits experience and will have worked at the distributor/wholesaler level.* Individual needs to be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to operate and perform independently.* Must possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.* Excellent presentation skills and strong problem solving capabilities are required.* Must have strong mathematical skills and above average computer skills, which include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity with email.* The ability and willingness to travel approximately 35 percent of the time is required.* A good driving record is required.Due to the amount of resumes we receive, we regret that we can't respond to all applicants.
