Company Description Leading global brokerage organization Job Description Responsibilities for the Operational Risk Analyst include: Actsing as a facilitator to ensure identified issues are resolved Monitoring the existence of a body of formalized policies and procedures in the entity Ensuring that the company is adequately collecting operational losses over the threshold defined Collecting statistics on operational losses under the threshold defined analyzing these losses / statistics and proposing mitigating measures when relevant Preparing management reports on losses incurred, including critical trends and events Organizing a workshop with the department manager and its supervisor to fill in the Risk Assessment Matrix Co-ordinating the groups involved to ensure that the project is completed in a timely manner, and the solution is operationally sound and efficient Monitoring the completion of the controls, evaluate the quality of the work done and analyze the results notably in terms of Exceptions, Key Risk Indicators and Key Areas of Concern Handling ad hoc requests Required Skills 2-4 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry Will consider candidates with audit, operations, and compliance backgrounds Risk management skills Company: Execu/Search Group Job Title: Operational Risk Analyst Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Location: US-NY-New York City Salary/Wage: 60,000.00 - 75,000.00 USD /year Reference Id: J49821
