Oracle DBA

LONG TERM CONTRACT FOR LARGE DALLAS AREA COMPANY! No Travel!

Senior/ Lead Oracle DBA

·        Experience in Oracle 9i/10g database administration

·        Experience in production and development support

·        Experience with database backup & recovery using Oracle RMAN required

·        Experience with setting up and maintaining standby databases using Oracle DataGuard required

·        Expertise in database performance tuning in 2-tier and 3- tier applications and tuning database code (SQL & PL/SQL)

·        Experience with database design a plus!

·        Experience with troubleshooting production problems and shell scripting

·        Strong operations, documentation and communication skills a must.

·        Proven ability to develop and document an ongoing performance monitoring plan/schedule.
