Patient Service Coordinator Needed!

Temporary PATIENT SERVICE COORDINATORspherion in contract with a Hospital in downtown Boston is seeking a temporary Patient Service Coordinator.  Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm and the duration is open at this time.Job Responsibilities: Meeting and Greeting Patients; Registration/Admitting Answering phones and scheduling medical appointments Collecting co-pays, verifying insurances and referrals Keeping patients charts organized for clinical staff Other basic administrative duties as assignedRequirements: Ability to learn new software; 70% proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; able to provide medical documentation of the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and an updated TB test; able to provide two professional references; proven track record of excellent attendance and dependability is required; able to successfully pass a criminal background check.Previous Healthcare Experience is Highly Preferred!
