Company Description Leading brokerage firm Job Description Responsibilities for the Payroll Manager include: Processing multi-state ADP payroll for 500 employees Overseeing the daily operations of the payroll cycle to ensure compliance with firm regulations as well as state and federal laws Partnering with the accounting department to ensure the delivery of time sensitive information, including daily cash reports, semi-monthly journal entries and monthly accruals Managing the process of quality control and reconciliation between HRIS and ADP systems Participating in the development, implementation and maintenance of firm policies and goals Keeping abreast of new laws and regulations with regards to payroll matters Calculating commission-based figures to feed into ADP system Required Skills 10+ years of payroll related experience Hands-on knowledge of ADP payroll processing system Excellent understanding of federal and multi-state guidelines pertaining to payroll Outstanding MS Excel skills Proficiency with HRIS and database management Proven experience administering and managing a 401(K) plan Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related quantitative discipline Desired Skills Knowledge of Pivot Tables and V-Lookups Prior work experience in the financial services industry Experience within the financial retail arena Company: Execu/Search Group Job Title: Payroll Manager Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Location: US-NY-Long Island Salary/Wage: 80,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD /year Reference Id: J49183
