Payroll Processor - Tacoma, WA

TrueBlue has an opening for a Payroll Processor at our Corporate Headquarters in Tacoma, WA.   Summary: The Payroll Practitioner I or II will manage employee records for payroll schedules, provide support via phone and email, and maintain garnishments for multiple states. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in Payroll. This position is located at our Corporate office in Tacoma, WA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Post, audit, research, maintain and edit employee records for weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll schedules within various States, Canada and the United Kingdom. - Maintain multi-state garnishments. - High volume service support by telephone and email contact. - Time clock and hours auditing with an automated time-keeping system. - Provide support to other corporate departments by developing reports to provide information as requested. - High volume spreadsheet and report maintenance.   The ideal candidate will possess the following experience: - Previous experience in a Payroll work environment of at least six months. - Prior audit/transaction experience. - Previous high volume customer service support. - Proficient in MS Office; Advanced skills in Word and Excel. - Experience with ADP Software and writing tools preferred. - Ability to work independently. - Strong Organizational skills. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Should have a good understanding of basic payroll requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act (hours worked, overtime, garnishments, minimum wage, record keeping, reporting, and final payment).   Occasional holidays and weekends required.   TrueBlue, Inc. provides an excellent benefits package, which includes: Company-matching 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, Tuition Reimbursement, College Savings Fund, and comprehensive Health and Welfare coverage including Medical/Dental/Vision and prescription drug benefits.   We are proud of our diverse environment, EOE, M/F/D/V.   NOTICE REGARDING BACKGROUND CHECKS: TrueBlue will conduct a background check to verify the information contained in your application for employment and to help determine whether you are a suitable candidate for such employment.
