There is an immediate and urgent need for a Polymer Engineer with a medical device company in the Class III implantable medical products industry. The position is located in a rural area along the east coast. The Polymer Engineer will have the opportunity to lead the company in it’s growth efforst through product development and acquisitions of technologies. You will have responsibility for product development of intricate plastic injection molded medical products with drug eluting coatings. Depending on your experience level, you will have the opportunity to manage or be a part of a staff of engineers, process engineers, scientists, and R&D engineers.

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum BS in an Engineering discipline. Master’s degrees are a plus.

• 2 or more years of experience in an engineering role with a medical device company.

• Strong desire to be a part of a design team creating medical devices.

• Good problem solving and communication skills are a must.

• Preference for a history in the medical products industry.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software packages.
