Product Planning Engineer

Company Brief: Our client is a rapidly growing wireless product and solutions firm specializing in mobile devices and accessories as well as the installation and maintenance of high-tech test equipment.  With exceptionally strong sales, they now seek a product planning engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, reverse engineering, pre-sales support to join their team.  Fluency in Chinese would be helpful. This is a high visibility position, and our client offers an excellent compensation plan that includes an aggressive base from $90k to $115k, depending upon experience, with the potential of monthly and annual performance bonuses.   Job Description: Reporting to a Line of Business executive, the successful product planning engineer will be responsible for expanding proprietary products, validating product designs, and developing/improving manufacturing practices and processes.  You will support pre-sales initiatives, and work with marketing, product development, packaging and quality management.  The successful candidate will maintain an understanding of advanced technology, product design and vendor manufacturing processes and standards and you will audit product designs and techniques.  International travel may be required, so the ability to get and hold a US Passport is required.  Position is open immediately!  Qualifications:  7 years experience in electronic manufacturing; demonstrated ability to design, develop, reverse-engineer and test electronic components and a BSEE is required. Ability to travel overseas is required. Fluency in Chinese is high desired. Previous sales support is highly desired.
