An extremely successful and booming Tier 1 automotive supplier is seeking a highly energetic and motivated Production Control Manager for their state-of-the-art facility located between the Dayton and Columbus, Ohio area.  Our client is looking for a highly promotable, very strategic individual to fill the role of Production control Manager.  VERY competitive compensation package with AMAZING benefits, including company car, free health and dental benefits, and 50% match on the 401K

Responsibilities include:

· Management of 10 to 12 hourly and salary associates, which are responsible for planning and establishment of production schedules and inventory control consistent with customer demands and plant capacity

· Manage production control activities that ensure material flow in support of the production plans

· Manage activities which monitor accurate material inventories, track progress of production and review factors that affect schedules

· Help the implementation of the MRP system within the plant

· Develop and manage department budget, including identifying areas in which cost reductions can be made to optimize profit

· Implement and maintain structure of Kaizen continuous improvement systems

Requirements:

· A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in production management or related field

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in material requirements planning, and preferably experience in systems such as MAPICS and Future 3 Software.  MRP software experience a plus

· Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and automotive a plus

· Demonstrated competence in production related statistics

· Strong problem solving ability while researching the root causes of problems relating to department activities

· Experience working in a multi-cultural manufacturing environment a plus

Compensation is commensurate with experience.  Salary $65K - $70K with 10% bonus
