Production Engineer

Our client is a manufacturing company located in Southeast Missouri and they are currently seeking a Production Engineer. Due to rapid growth and high production there are several openings.  They are ideally seeking engineers with 2-5 years of experience although they will consider an engineer with one year of engineering experience and they are strongly encouraged to apply.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinates various projects from concept to completion including: Process design, process layout, develops capital equipment specifications, presents justification for equipment purchases to management, negotiates equipment pricing with suppliers, equipment procurement, coordinates equipment rigging and installation with outside contractors, process installation and debugging, trains personnel on how to operate new equipmentPerforms troubleshooting on automated equipment.Designs small assembly machines, fixtures and tooling.Supervises various facilities construction projects throughout plant.
Requirements:
Must have plastic injection molding experience and a  Bachelor's Degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
