Professional Engineering Recruiter

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for competitive, self-motivated individuals who have the drive to succeed and contribute to our next level of growth. We are looking for experienced recruiters with a proven track record in the technical field.  This is a great mid-level position for someone eager to further their career in recruiting and have the opportunity for advancement. A Professional Engineering Recruiter is a recruiter with at least one full year of professional engineering recruiting experience who consistently demonstrates the ability to find, search and place qualified Engineering professionals that meet client needs. A Professional Engineering Recruiter supports the development of new recruiters as a mentor for new recruiters in the pit as well as a subject matter expert at new recruiter training.  We are looking for someone to provide:    •Proven recruiting experience attracting qualified Engineering professionals interested in contract and contract-to-hire employment  •Ability to establish professional relationships with contract employees through lunch meetings and on site visits   •Experience building and maintaining a network for new business opportunities and referrals to help identify and source qualified candidates.    •Interviewing and resume screening skills to ensure candidates credentials match with open requirements   • Negotiating skills with contracts and contract to hire employees Additionally we continue to train you the skills   necessary to prepare you for your next role.       Specifically:   •Management and leadership skills   •Business development techniques and best practices   •How to develop and mentor others  JOB REQUIREMENTS: A successful applicant must:   •A self starter with a high sense of urgency and a strong will to be the best   •Process and Solution oriented   •Ability to build strong relationships   •Ability to be direct and have difficult conversations   •Excellent communication skills   •Excellent organizational skills with solid documentation skills   •Ability to multitask and meet deadlines   •Be energetic and enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ attitude   •Must be a team player   •Coach able and receptive to feedback EXPERIENCE:• A minimum of one year of professional recruiting experience, preferably in the IT/Engineering industry EDUCATION: • Have a Bachelors degreeOur environment is fast-paced and recruiters work in an open area called ‘the pit’ where they work together as a team to get positions filled for our clients.
