Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in PR in fashion, home dcor, food and related fields
- Agency experience a plus
- A four year degree or better
- Excellent clips
- Experience working in small office a plus
- Flexibility, and adaptability in press pitches


Job Description:
A celebrity driven brands seeks a publicist to work in an exciting entrepreneurial office. Experience and results will be rewarded above all.
Publicist

- Pitch stories to editors
- Write press releases
- Secure coverage in top tier magazines (Vogue, The New Yorker, In Style, etc)
- Secure coverage in top tier newspapers (The New York Times, The LA Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, etc.)
- Generating creative storylines and angles that fit brand, brainstorm pitch ideas
- Product placement pitches
- Adapting to trends and news cycle
- Create, manage and publicize events in partnership with strategic brands
- Travel with star at publicity events
- Work under Director of Communications
- Listen to what interests editors, create reports
- Keep detailed progress reports and time log
- Archive clippings
- Create and adapt press kits
