Recruiter -- Well-established Search Firm (College Grads Considered)

Due to promotion, RJ Associates, a White Plains-based Personnel Search firm in business for over 30 years, seeks to add a Recruiter to our staff. You'll be responsible for telephone networking (using the Internet as a research aid) to identify candidates who will then speak with our Placement Counselors as part of the search process. The industries in which you will network will vary (i.e. Marketing, Finance, Information Technology,  Engineering). Compensation will be based on a Salary plus Bonus basis (first year total compensation will be in the $40-60K range), with the potential to ultimately move into a Placement Counselors role and increase earnings significantly and quickly. This opportunity is excellent for someone with 1+ years professional work experience who is creative, sharp, resourceful and a quick thinker who embraces telephone networking and intends to embark on a career path where performance is richly rewarded. Candidates with prior Personnel Search firm experience will also be considered, as will recent college grads for whom this has significant appeal. However, the ideal candidate will have had some experience in a customer focused role, have a general understanding of how businesses are structured, excellent phone manner, be Internet-savvy, possess a solid work ethic and have a sincere desire to maximize their earning potential as they  find a long-term professional home. This is NOT a “back-room”  Sales position.
