COMPANY INFOMy client is a 200+bed community hospital located on the cusp of our nation’s capital. Their staff includes some of the area’s most-respected physicians. This Hospital is home to both a Joint Replacement center and a Rehabilitation center. They also provide a wide range of services including: cancer, emergency, psychiatric, cardiac rehabilitation, breast health, hyperbaric oxygen, wound healing and dialysis.  If you like to visit museums, historical sites, just taking a walk, restaurants and the night life or if you like to relax at a local spa, for instance, then this is an opportunity for you. JOB DESCRIPTIONRN for Critical Care Unit (3)3 night positions availableProvides safe therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum to include patient and family education. Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others. Has respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines. Uses an integrated approach toward patient outcomes. Utilizes standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery. Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes. Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in life-long learning. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice, serves as a resource, preceptor, and mentor. Leadership skills demonstrated in decision-making and problem solving. QUALIFICATIONS  · Licensed or eligible for licensing, in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse · BLS certification required.
