Title of Position:  Quality Assurance Analyst/ Tester

This individual is going to be acting as a System Tester/Analyst with the Customer Care Organization- specifically working with Call Center/ Customer Service Applications. 

 

Functional Responsibilities-

The main function of this position is to become a member of the small QA testing & analytics team that works specifically with Wireless Data Solutions.  Going to team meetings and working with the Production Support & Development teams to understand what the business is trying to accomplish.

 

·  Experience in testing Flash/Flex/Brew based application is a must.

 

·  Performance Tuning FrontEnd applications written in Java,C, Brew & Flash.

 

·  Designs software QA methods and procedures for use by QA and development staff to ensure all information systems meet minimum company standards and end user requirements.

 

·  Develop QA test plans and project staffing estimates – possibly acts as QA team lead.

 

Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of running automation, writing scripts via Mercury tools- (**specifically LoadRunner**, also with QTP & Quality Center is good) -- Very strong in writing test plans, test scripts and scenarios for manual and automation testing.MUST HAVE strong UNIX and Database knowledge (SQL & Oracle)Experience in production environments a plus.Telecom experience a plus, not necessary.

 Minimum 3 years Work Experience in System Testing.Leadership skillsDecipher prioritization of tasks/projectsGood to Excellent SQL knowledge/query skills for backend testing and verification.Ability to meet deadlinesGood to Excellent organization skillsComputer Science degree or equivalent
