Sales and Account Management
Description:
The Sales and Account Management position is responsible for creating new business opportunities for our technology consulting business. This person will successfully identify, qualify, and maintain relationships with a wide range of technology decision makers. Only people with the specific experience in Information Technology sales and marketing as shown below need apply.
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the full life cycle of identifying new opportunities, introducing ACM services, closing the sale and maintaining strong business relationships Ask the appropriate questions to qualify each requirement and to fully understand the client’s business operations Creative thinker with the ability to get the attention of prospective clients by the telephone or in person Techniques to overcome objections to get pass the gatekeepers Strong oral and written communications skills to define new requirements in detail to recruiters for consultant positions and to tech leads for project based opportunities Negotiating with senior technology managers to close sales that will meet or exceed margin expectations Maintain knowledge of current technical terms and processes Identify new opportunities through contact with networking groups, references, clients and other sources Efficient and timely completion of all required status documentation and contact database Proactively maintain contact with the clients, recruiters and technical leads to ensure client’s satisfaction.
Systems Knowledge: Microsoft Windows based products including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook The Internet: specifically web-based recruiting boards, news boards, search engines and other research methods Experienced in contact databases such as Act!
Skills and/or Experience: 2+ years of sales and marketing in Information Technology staffing and consulting services Knowledge of client interviewing methods Ability to successfully communicate both verbally and written Proven record of excellence in customer service Ability to multi-task Must be an excellent individual contributor and team player Must be able to take responsibility and make good business decisions Must be able to work through difficult situations and maintain a positive attitude Must have strong time management and organizational skills!
Additional Position Qualifications Required:
This position will interact with senior personnel across a variety of operations and administration areas. Must be able to demonstrate advanced human relations skills, understanding of technical applications, the ability to influence others, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to make the organization successful. Must have the ability to think creatively and be decisive.
