Senior Accountant

90693 Are you a CPA looking to transition out of public accounting into a growing company with unlimited opportunity for advancement? If you are a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant with solid technical skills and have a strong aptitude for general ledger applications ? we want to hear from you! The Senior Accountant will be primarily responsible for performing the revenue / accounts receivable accounting for the firm?s clients. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for issuing monthly invoices, reconciling month end balance sheet accounts pertaining to accrued revenue, receivables and other contract related activity. Qualifications: CPA ? in process or attained ? strongly preferred. 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience. Mutual fund and/or transfer agency experience a major plus. Strong technical accounting knowledge and skills ? particularly with revenue recognition. Knowledge of SOX and internal controls.
