Senior Analyst - SAS

90785 Our client is in search of a BI and Datawarehouse Professional. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for the following: Conducting data and analytically-intensive tasks necessary to generate cross media reports and develop analytic insights that enable continuous measurable improvement for a large client. Utilizing database knowledge, programming skills, and data manipulation / query tools to produce actionable reports (ad hoc queries, media specific production reports, etc.). Utilizing data analysis and statistical techniques to develop insights, recommendations and POVs. Ensuring data quality and processing steps for deliverables & analytic projects are followed. Acting as liaison with database, modeling, and other internal/external teams to develop and deliver work requests.Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or business with quantitative work experience (required). Post graduate degree in a quantitative field or MBA (a plus but not required). 3-5 years of work experience in marketing data analysis. Strong background in data manipulation and analysis (including experience with transactional data). Experiential knowledge of Direct Marketing techniques for: testing and evaluation of campaigns, tracking and measurement of campaign metrics, and analysis and reporting of campaign results. Strong basic statistics background. Basic knowledge of experimental/test design. Experience in direct marketing and/or marketing analytics. Significant demonstrated experience with data set creation and data manipulation (sorting, merging, variable creation). Excellent knowledge of a wide range of desktop applications, including: MS Office Apps: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook (required). SAS / SQL experience preferred.CRM software such as Epiphany, Clarify, Siebel, etc. (a plus). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel (for multiple days when needed). Travel is less than 10%.
