Senior Business Operations Project Manager

71036 Premier financial services company located in Boston with offices worldwide is looking to fill this exciting position in their central pricing/security master file department. You must have at least 5 years of project management experience and be familiar with writing business requirement documents, data mapping and testing systems. Responsibilities: Managing the life cycle of a project, including project scoping, planning, requirements definition to issues resolution, testing, training and implementation, while maintaining the use of project methodology. Identifying requirements through user interviews and analysis of operations workflow. Proposing and formulating specific project plans based on objectives. Understanding technical concepts and effectively link them to the business needs. Managing and/or producing procedure documents and training materials. Acting as a key management interface with both internal and external clients during project development. Developing, documenting, and implementing best practices. Providing ongoing support to the development team by tracking and resolving business issues throughout the life of a project. Writing business cases, business requirements, functional specifications, and user acceptance test plans. Ensuring cost effectiveness, performing quality control and complying with performance standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of industry experience. 5-10 years of Project Management experience using a structured methodology. Demonstrated ability to execute project activities/tasks with little direction, and plan time effectively to meet project dates. Ability to adjust quickly to changes in the market, client needs or organizational issues. Solid analytical skills with ability to start at a high level, working down to the detail. Ability to effectively plan and prioritize long and short term goals. Expert understanding of project life cycle and ability to prioritize and manage daily project management administration.
