Senior Cost Accountant

91331 Growing Pharmaceutical Company has an immediate opening for a Senior Cost Accountant with 3-5 years relevant experience. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Related industry and public accounting experience is a plus. Reporting to the Manager / Director of Cost Accounting, the Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible: Performing all accounting activities related to production and inventory functions including journal transactions, monthly / quarterly close, account reconciliations, accruals, and quarterly and annual audit preparation. Tracking and analyzing inventory, levels, and other related metrics on a weekly basis. Participating in the coordination and development of the annual operating budgets and quarterly forecasts. Analyzing and reporting on variances to standards, operating expense budgets and forecasts. Assisting with the coordination and support of the annual physical inventory. Ensuring the department is compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
