Company Description Global financial services provider Job Description Responsibilities for the Senior Manager-SALT include: Planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects in a wide variety of industries Managing, developing, training, and mentoring staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews Overseeing multi-disciplinary, multi-state reviews that analyze income, franchise, sales and use, payroll, valorem taxes, and others to identify optimal filing options, exemptions, credits and incentives, and corporate structures that can reduce the client's tax burden Developing a project vision and set challenging personal and client service team goals Conducting primary and secondary review of complicated or complex State and Local tax returns Maintaining active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively Playing a key role in the future business generation and continued development of the client base within industry groups and identify future client needs and new business opportunities Researching and consulting on complex tax matters Handling ad hoc requests Required Skills 10+ years of SALT experience Strong compliance skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation Company: Execu/Search Group Job Title: Senior Manager-SALT Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Location: US-NY-New York City Salary/Wage: 135,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD /year Reference Id: J47994
