United Global Technologies www.ugtechnologies.com is a leading IT consulting and staff augmentation services company based out of Charlotte NC.  We are a certified DBE and WBE company looking to expand our footprint throughout the nation.

In cooperation with our strategic plan, we are recruiting for a sales professional that will enhance our business development team. This person will be a SALES professional, focusing entirely on new business development and will not be doing recruiting.  UGT is positioned to leverage our current recruiting team to support IT and engineering needs wherever they may be.  We currently service clients both in the US and Canada.

The person we are looking for is a make it happen person, someone that looks at the IT landscape and goes after new business with a plan, operating aggressively to gain new client business and confidence.  The position is reserved for someone that has a strong past history in sales, someone that is self directed and is looking for career with a company that offers strong compensation and an excellent work environment.

Job Purpose:

To expand the UGT footprint throughout the nation by developing new clients and leveraging UGT service capabilities in the areas of IT/Engineering staff augmentation and consulting.

Duties:

* Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.

* Sells services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.

* Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.

* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

* Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
