PROJECT SCIENTIST We are seeking a candidate in our Bridgeport, CT area office to fulfill a Research leadership role in understanding how consumers respond to product and marketing information emotionally, behaviorally and cognitively, to enhance the sensory experience, market positioning and communication of product offerings. Must have a PhD in Marketing, Psychology, Social Psychology, or Consumer Psychology and preferably 2+ years demonstrated ability to implement scientific methods for research regarding Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG). Main responsibility will be investigating the perception (both from a fundamental and consumer perspective) of technologies relevant to CPGs, such as a Skin Care/Cleansing program, in order to meet the marketing and business objectives. This position will require using a variety of research methodologies to link product acceptability to individual differences (e.g., need states, psychographics, etc.), usage context, brand, concept strategies, etc. If this sounds like you, read on...Position Summary The purpose of this position is to investigate the perception (both from a fundamental and consumer perspective) of technologies relevant to Consumer Packaged Goods, such as our Skin Care and Cleansing program, in order to meet the marketing and business objectives.
