Sr Software Engineer / Software Architect - RTOS,

Sr. Software Engineer is required for low volume – high mix design environment to assume the lead Software Engineering responsibilities on projects.  Duties & Responsibilities: -  Key Contributor to new product proposal and specifications  - System Architecture Specification, requirements analysis, design specification, design, development, implementation and analysis of technical issues related to products, systems or sub-systems -  Generate and achieve project milestones with direction from members of the Development team -  Oversee all project phases – including technical approach, estimating, scheduling and budgeting -  Analyze and solve technical issues related to products, systems or sub-systems -  Utilize engineering tools, concepts, practices and procedures as appropriate and required by the design process. -  Communicate Directly with Customers and Suppliers utilizing standard project management skills -  Configuration Control Specific Design Experience: -  Ten (10) years software design experience – preferably in industrial controls and/or aerospace projects.  -  Software Project Leadership -  Real Time Software Architect (RTOS experience – RTX, VxWorks, RT-Linux) -  C, C++ -  Hardware Device Drivers -  Object Oriented Analysis and Design -  Software Configuration Management (CMM, CMMI) knowledge -  Fieldbus protocol stacks (example Sercos, DeviceNet, Real Time-Ethernet) -  Processor Experience – Motorola and TI Education: -  BS or MS in related technical discipline Experience: -  Ten (10) years related experience -  Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Language Skills: -  English Salary: -  Competitive Salary, Commensurate with Experience -  Competitive Benefits Package -  Relocation OKThis client will move quickly for the right person.  Send your resume today to Nola Pearce:  npearce@etstech-ops.com ETS Tech-Ops (a division of Executive Talent Search) specializes in placing Technical and Operations professionals across the country.
