Staffing Account Mgr or Selling Branch Mgr.
We are looking for two account and/or selling branch managers for our north and south Austin offices. Our company is dynamic and growing. We have office throughout Texas and are looking to add to our already great team in Austin. If you have B2B sales experience with outside cold calling experience, you are what we are looking for. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record meeting and exceeding goals. You must be good at building and maintaining client relationships. The official job description is below. POSITION TITLE: ACCOUNT MANAGER/BUSINESS DEVELOPER
REPORTS TO:
Position Purpose
Maximize sales revenues of the office. The primary function of this position is Sales and Marketing. Key activities include establishing and maintaining client relationships, preparing for sales calls, making initial sales calls and following the Territory Management System.
Position Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for generating new business within his or her territory and increasing market share. The Account Manager will maintain current account information and competitive information with their territory. They are to work on a team effort basis with the Staffing Coordinators. The Account Manager performs administrative tasks as necessary to maintain an organized sales system.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions
· Develop new business and increase gross margin profitabilityDevelop new accounts through telephone and direct sales for Temporary, Temp-to-Hire and Direct Hire placement business.Increase current account billable hours through telephone, direct sales and customer service.Achieve weekly sales objectives for the number of personal contacts, cold calls, telephone contacts, appointments, presentations and proposals.Analyze all existing and prospective accounts in the territory.Develop methods of obtaining additional business from existing clients.Develop repeat and referral business through service and follow-up calls.Keep abreast of new business within the territory and make timely initial contact.Follow-up on all business leads from sources within the company.Managing Current Priorities and Servicing AccountsDevelop and maintain a schedule of calls in the respective territory utilizing a weekly sales plan.Regularly visit existing clients to develop the account to increase business, ensure safety of Temporary Employees, and verify they are performing tasks within the appropriate job description.Use the office automation system to record information and maintain current records.Use appropriate Sales Tools in the marketing effort.Analyze competitive activity within the territory and know the strengths and areas of opportunity of our completion to assist in the sales process.
Team Effort to Office Productivity
Increase supply of temporary employees by making regular recruiting contacts.Attend and contribute feedback at all office meetings.Become familiar with operation functions to ensure proper product knowledge and to be able to provide assistance when necessary.Interact daily with the Staffing Coordinator and inside staff to provide and obtain information on clients and prospects.Conduct Administrative Activities as necessary to properly manage job function.Complete all required sales reports as required by Management.Return to the office daily to complete sales calls.Be available for Daily/Weekly performance reviews with manager to assist in personal development, improve sales performance and increase market share of their territory.With the help of the Manager, develop account-marketing strategies.Become involved in civic or professional organizations to develop leads, additional business, and personal skills through the Chamber of Commerce, clubs, organizations, media, etc.
