Staffing Consultant

In the role of Staffing Consultant for Accounting Principals, you will be responsible for the recruitment and placement of Accounting and Finance professionals for temporary/contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire positions.  Our team is made up of seasoned recruiters and accountants. We have exceptional staff and exceptional professional standards. In the Staffing Consultant position you will be expected to contribute to the organization’s growth and productivity by assisting the client to remain well staffed with high caliber, well suited temporary and direct-hire placements as well as recruiting and retaining a high quality pool of temporary and direct hire applicants. Responsibilities include interviewing applicants, interacting with new and existing customers, successfully matching candidate’s skills to job requirements, and constantly recruiting new applicants to meet the demand of open job orders. Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Recruit, screen, schedule, interview and place candidates.- Perform reference checking procedures on all temporary employees - Establish focused business development and recruiting plans. - Develop prospect list and execute a sales and marketing plan to generate new business.- Perform best candidate marketing activities.- Execute client visits insuring customer satisfaction and marketing objectives.- Determine pay and bill rates to meet or exceed pricing guidelines while maintaining a competitive level in the marketplace.- Follow-up on all existing business to insure retention, quality control and development of new business. Requirements:  - An undergraduate degree is required. - Ability to successfully interface with clients (internal and external).- Sales experience in the staffing industry with a proven track record of success.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Proven ability to work within a team environment.- Ability to make decisions, take direction and execute a plan.- Detail orientation with follow-through shown in previous jobs.- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.- Ability to qualify and close deals. The role of the Staffing Consultant is tremendously fast-paced and sales driven.
