Resource Manager! Sound like you? Aquent is looking for a Resource Manager in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin branch. As a Resource Manager you will be expected to handle all employee relations and orientation activities for a large group of consultants. Other responsibilities include:• Track and manage assignment extensions and end dates for employees. • Leverage employee relationships as an opportunity to expand and identify new business opportunities with our clients. • Partner with client managers to understand client business needs and translating them into the implementation of effective solutions and partnering with internal employees to ensure we are maximizing our growth potential. • Network with employees as a means to maximize candidate leads and customer leads. • Proactively manage the redeployment process. • Act as primary point contact for employee issues. • Provide coaching and counseling in the areas of employee development, performance management, training, and employee relations. • Meet employee to gain extensive knowledge in the employee's assignment, previous work experience, skill set, and career goals. • Conduct performance reviews and compensation reviews as appropriate. • Provide employee with client feedback. • Develop programs to create an employee community and maintain high visibility with our employees. • Develop and expand employee relationships as a resource for candidate referrals. • Develop proactive monthly communications to our employee base. • Conducts new hire orientation with employees. • Assures employees follow client and internal processes (i.e. timecards) and policies. • Maintain internal database. • Perform other duties as required and assigned Your qualifications are: • Bachelor's degree in a human resources or related area. • 2-3 years of experience in human resources/employee relations. • Account management in IT Staffing and/or contract consulting services environment a plus • 2-3 years of Information Technology or IT staffing experience is highly desired • Excellent conflict and problem resolution skills with an ability to focus quickly on the key issues. • Ability to work independently and make strategic recommendations. • Strong initiative, self-drive and motivation. • Excellent customer service, sales, and relationship building skills. • Strong negotiation/closing skills and creative follow through skills. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Creative and innovative thinker. • Ability to work in a team. • Ability to be flexible and adaptable. • Strong knowledge of Windows, MS Office, and database systems. • Most of all, a passion for technology.
