SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Assist clients as needed to manage and resolve business issues, such as: developing and implementing recruiting plans; interviewing and evaluating potential candidates and associates; and, matching such candidates and associates with clients’ business objectives. Assist associates on an ongoing basis with assignment placement and counseling relating to development and performance objectives or requirements. Contribute to the branch’s sales and profit goals by: developing strategies for recruitment of associates and enhancement of the client base; utilizing an effective price management program; and, participating in marketing promotions aimed at associate retention, client retention, and business growth. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: 1.Screen prospective associates and determine their eligibility for employment based on the associates' skills and experience. 2. Perform the hiring process, which includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Administering and evaluating assessment tools;b. Interviewing potential candidates to clarify previous experience and identify strengths and weaknesses; and,c. Verifying applicant’s previous work experience.d. Verify and complete I-9 and W-4 3. Maintain accurate and complete personnel files, including performance reviews, pay and work history, performance documentation, I-9s and W-4s, and new-hire documentation. 4. Conduct regular performance reviews of associates and develop appropriate development plans to increase skill level and/or modify behavior. 5. Respond to concerns regarding work place safety, defective equipment and machinery, etc., complete the first report of injury, and conduct a thorough accident investigation. 6. Negotiate billing rates with clients and pay rates with associates. 7. Actively market through promotions aimed at associate and client retention and business growth. 8. Monitor individual client expectations and implement appropriate service level modifications to meet clients’ needs. 9. Report accurately and process associates’ payroll, and distribute payroll checks. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Skills, knowledge & Abilities: Able to make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment. Possess strong negotiation skills. Able to develop strong interpersonal relationships and appropriate rapport with all levels of internal management and clients’ management teams. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the staffing industry. Able to prioritize tasks to meet individual and business goals.
