JOB SUMMARY:Spherion, an International Fortune 500 organization, is searching for the right person to join our downtown San Francisco office. The Staffing Recruiter (titled Client Service Supervisor) is accountable for ensuring the availability of qualified flexible employees through appropriate recruiting and skill matching to achieve total client satisfaction. He/she is also responsible for telemarketing, business development, managing flexible employees and imposing discipline as appropriate. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operations/Administration:o Determine client needs, place appropriately skilled employees on flexible/full time assignments and conduct quality control and arrival calls on all client orderso Receive, write and process all client orders with complete job description and credit informationo Assign appropriate pay rates for field employees and bill rates for clients within established guidelineso Perform daily financial activities (sales adjustments, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections) o Communicate and coordinate the various aspects of branch operations required to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, as well as local, state and federal laws and guidelines (Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment, Human Resources, Legal, WOTC, etc.) Sales/Business Development: o Conduct telemarketing to existing and prospective clients; may also perform outside sales activitieso Maintain communication with established clients to ensure successful business development and to promote client and employee retentiono Identify recruiting needs and participate in the development of outside recruiting sourceso Identify new business opportunitieso Participate in local professional, business and civic organizations to enhance personal development and to promote company recognition Supervision:o Recruit, interview, make hiring decisions and conduct new employee orientation of flexible employees o Counsel flexible employees on behavioral and performance issues, document and take corrective action as necessary EDUCATION: Four-year college degree or 2 years of equivalent business experience EXPERIENCE:· Minimum of two years of related experience in a fast paced sales and service environment SKILLS REQUIRED:· Ability to contribute to branch revenue through proactive solicitation of business and candidates· Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills· Ability to prioritize and multi-task· Good planning and organizational skills necessary to achieve business goals and to increase office efficiency· Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change· Computer literacy· Ability to create and interpret financial and operational reports · Ability to work effectively in a team environment· Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessaryDON’T DELAY!!!
