The organization consists of:Talent Management Solutions through: Nelson Staffing Solutions for administrative/office support, manufacturing/technology and production/assembly personnel; Accountants Plus for accounting and finance professionals; Nelson & Associates for finance and accounting consultant placement; TechSource for engineering and design, information technology and technical support; and Nelsonjobs for Northern California online job board and outsourced recruiting services.Managed Services through: ABE Services for 1099 contractor compliance evaluations, compliance protocols and as employer-of-record to companies using contract workers, WorkforceLogic for enterprise-wide, vendor-neutral, web-based contingent workforce management solutions, and HRhome for current, customizable and relevant HR tools and resources.RESPONSIBILITIES:Reviews employment applications and interviews applicants to evaluate work history, skills, competencies, education and training, compensation needs, and other qualifications.Performs reference and background checks on applicants.Takes and reviews job orders to match candidates to client job requirements.Maintains communication with clients regarding status of open job orders.Informs candidates of job duties and responsibilities, compensation, work schedules and working conditions, policies, assignment opportunities, and other information.Refers qualified candidates to client company hiring manager.Maintains records of resumes, applicant flow, and employee selection.Updates and retrieves candidate information in database systems, i.e. Matchmaker and Tempworks.Schedules, conducts, and scores evaluations for applicants.Evaluates employees' performance by conducting follow-up calls in order to foster client relationships.Negotiates pay and bill rates with both clients and applicants.Coaches and counsels temporary employees to ensure optimal performance.Consults with clients regarding NELSON's services in the absence of Account Executive.Counsels clients regarding HR issues and any other pertinent information, as needed.Prepares outgoing correspondence including e-mail and faxes.Actively markets candidates to clients.Coordinates advertising with corporate Marketing Department.Communicates candidate sourcing needs to Recruiting Manager.Initiates documentation for Unemployment and Workers Compensation claims, coordinating efforts with the Director of Safety and Risk.Manages modified duty assignments for temporary employees.Responds to client requests in a timely and professional manner.Obtains candidate and client referrals.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
