TOUR MODERATOR-GREAT PART TIME WORK @ LARGE SOFTWARE COMPANY!!!!

Do you have a background in public speaking or communication?Are you passionate about technology?Are you looking for a part time position?  (Guaranteed 20 hours a week)  We have an opening for a part time position as a Tour Moderator with our client at a leading software company in Redmond. We are looking for an energetic professional public speaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and how it will impact our lives, society and our future.  The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and outgoing individual with outstanding personal communication skills and a background in public speaking or communication. The ability to communicate easily and effectively with diverse audiences of high level management is essential to the success of this position. Previous public speaking experience in high tech environment is preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES:· You will be responsible for hosting one hour tours of prototype technology concepts for Microsoft Customers, partners, executives and internal Microsoft teams.  · A scripted demonstration style presentation will be delivered to groups of high level executives in a high tech environment. Tour size groups will range between 1-25 individuals. · You will be responsible for responding to the questions asked during the tour. · This is a part time position with a guaranteed 20 hours a week. · Ability to be flexible in work schedule is required. · You will receive your week schedule one week prior and will be responsible for managing your schedule based on the daily tour schedule.  EDUCATION:· High School diploma or equivalent required.  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. SKILLS REQUIRED: Professional demeanor 2-3 years previous experience in public speaking Previous experience working in a high tech environment is strongly preferred Understanding of today’s and historical consumer technology, software and devices Strong Customer Service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Computer literate in MS Office and Internet usage Network knowledge a plus Self motivated The ability to work independently within a team environment Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization Strong verbal communications and collaborative interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with senior management Sensitivity to confidential information Flexible- ability to adapt to new approaches, apply, develop and improve presentation A college education would be desirable, but not mandatory Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
