User Experience Architect
89490 User Experience Architect needed for a 1-year contract in NYC!! Building a search and workflow solution for finding, ordering, editing, delivering, and scrapbooking any media at large Broadcast Media Corporation in NYC. The role will work directly with producers and operations leaders. The solution will be based on a service-oriented architecture, using a portal solution to present the user experience. Requirements: Abstract thinker to build the architecture on which the user experience layer will be built. Build a framework that is simple and easy to code against. Create coding standards and UE standards that promote maintainability and rapid development. Have some experience developing in AJAX and Java (will not be an active developer for this project. Will be presented code from developers. However, this individual must be able to verify that the code is accurate and implement it into his or her own architecture). Experience with setting coding and testing standards. Strong skills on all user platforms (Mac, Windows).Pluses: Agile, and Getting Real experience. Product experience, company that has developed off the shelf. Partial to open source contributions (Linux, Ruby on rails experience). Broadcast workflow knowledge. Asset Management knowledge. Order Management and Workflow systems knowledge. News and entertainment production knowledge.
