This is a highly visible, executive-level position responsible for managing the sales and recruiting operations functions of i3 Pharma Resourcing for the United States, Canada, and Latin America. The VP, Americas will be directly accountable for recruiting operations, profitable growth, development of sales strategies, and the execution of sales efforts to achieve revenue objectives.Responsibilities will include: Effectively supervising, directing, and evaluating i3 Pharma Resourcing staff Executing a territory sales plan to actively generate new business opportunities Identifying and solidifying relationships with new customers in order to obtain job orders for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire vacancies. Continually conducting face-to-face client/ prospect meetings; telephone sales calls, and other revenue generating activities to meet all company and territory financial objectives Negotiating and executing services agreements with client companies Researching and submitting RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, MSAs, etc. and all other instruments that would contribute to contractual arrangements to conduct business Building a comprehensive database and network of client and prospect contacts and collaborate on any global/ national accounts with other i3-related companies Increasing i3 Pharma Resourcing visibility by joining and participating in local and national industry related industry professional organizations Representing i3 at relevant local/ national trade shows, seminars, training sessions, etc. Achieving a full and working understanding of the clinical research industry and its disciplines, including account development and management, recruitment, placement and quality assurance perspectives Attending regular team meetings, contributing ideas, help, and information to contribute the success of i3 Pharma Resourcing Promoting an atmosphere of mutual and professional respect, both with internal and external clients The ideal candidate will have a BS degree (or equivalent in education and experience) at least 3 years of the following: Experience recruiting clinical research professionals or business development experience with pharma/ biotech clients, either from a CRO or staffing agency Understanding and demonstrated execution of the sales process Knowledge of the clinical trials research process gained through working for a clinical research staffing company, clinical research organization, pharmaceutical/ biotech/ medical device company, or other related industries Delivering results against established financial targets Supervision or management experience Additional requirements include: Ability to lead and function successfully within a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient computer skills Excellent presentation skills with the expertise and sophistication needed to credibly represent i3 Pharma Resourcing values and quality commitments to clients Demonstrated ability to close business Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: an equal opportunity employer.
