We are looking for a Value Stream Manager to run 1 of their 5 Value Streams and work directly with the GM. who started in 1989 and has moved up with the company.This is a terrific opportunity to join a company that is seen as a market leader in their industry. We are looking for a high potential candidate who is looking for advancement within a solid company (This person will be taking over the VP/GM role in the near future). This position will manage a $65 Million operation producing proximity sensing systems. The processes involve some circuit board assembly, final assembly, testing, and packaging. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelors in Engineering or Business - MBA Preferred 7-10 years in a lean leadership role with a history of driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment - preferably aerospace / electronics A strong leader who can communicate up and down the ladder A person who can take a solid lean value stream and continue to drive improvements in the streamSpecific Duties include but are not limited to: Oversee operational responsibility for Value Steam Drive a 10% year over year improvement in operational performance Drive improvements using kaizen Drive On-time delivery from 96% to 99% and above Metrics: --Inventory turns --On-time delivery --Past due orders --Safety --Quality --CostCompensation: Base: Excellent pay - Commensurate with experience Benefits: Relocation plan and strong benefits packageQualified applicants should reply via email to danny@mriyorktown.com  for follow up and further information.
